Anybody can protest anything.
By your logic, those who are 'protesting' in support of the CAA must also be allowed to occupy public highways and disrupt everyone's lives.
Just because democracy tolerates protests, it doesn't make the protestors automatically correct or moral.
The 'minority' protestors are against a law that actually helps minorities of their neighboring countries. The hypocrisy is high.
- ak1234 7y agoWhy anyone needs protest to "support CAA"? Its already the law of the land...so what's there to protest? Gandhi united Indians against British. BJP/RSS and the Savarna Hindu bigots unite Hindus against Muslims and other minorities. Almost every action from Narendra Modi and the thug Home Minister Amit Shah - the Nicholas Maduro of India - is nothing but thinly veiled Islamophobia and bigotry.
