I often recommend reading this essay. The conception of LP described (and embodied) is only tenuously related to modern systems claiming to be LP, and what's presented is really interesting. That said, I still find myself unsure how it translates into practice. Does anyone have experience working on a system described this way? In particular, I wonder what refactors feel like, and how general problems around stale documentation apply (or fail to).
