Yep, there's no such thing as a placebo when it comes to LSD.
- alexpatin 7y agoThere are "NBOMe" compounds though, such as 25I-NBOMe, which may easily be sold as LSD or "acid" to the unsuspecting. LSD should be colorless, odorless, and tasteless, whereas NBOMes are known for their metallic and bitter taste. "If it's bitter, its a spitter"
- empath75 7y agoInteresting — didn’t exist when I was still doing that kind of thing. Good to know.
- PragmaticPulp 7y ago> Yep, there's no such thing as a placebo when it comes to LSD. That's not the point. NBOMe compounds also fit on blotter paper with similar potency to LSD, yet have significantly more dangerous side effect profiles. https://psychonautwiki.org/wiki/25I-NBOMe#Toxicity_and_harm_potential https://psychonautwiki.org/wiki/25I-NBOMe#Toxicity_and_harm_...
- cameronh90 7y agoIt is said that NBOMe isn't orally active, whereas LSD is. NBOMe needs to be held sublingually, so if you're worried about it the best thing to do is to swallow and not let it sit in your mouth. Also if it's bitter don't take it.
- pmoriarty 7y agoThis is absolutely awful advice. Don't just swallow potentially lethal substances! Test them (don't taste them!) first if you're not sure what they are. If you're tasting something that can kill you it's already too late.
- cameronh90 7y agoSorry - my assumption was that you're testing as well, but the reagent tests aren't perfect.
