Sky had on demand video as well in the early 2000's, through Sky Box Office.
- Lio 7y agoYeah if you didn't mind waiting 30 minutes to an hour to start watching. Sky Box Office just used spare bandwidth to continuously broadcast the same film on different channels with a time offset. That's why then only had a selection of about 3-5 films at any one time. That was still a useful service but not the same as real video on demand.
