It was essentially all fear-mongering, evidenced by the bulk of advocacy for the movent not being from economists and market theorists, but it was well intentioned. I wasn't a NN advocate so I won't waste time pretending to be good at defending the position, that said I do think that their camp had some very legitimate concerns about what /could/ happen. The dialogue was important if nothing else and shouldn't be discarded as wasteful.
