In Australia it's pretty common to be paid for 38 or 36 hours a week and take a RDO (rostered day off) once a month or fortnight depending on what you choose. This plus minimum 4 weeks paid annual leave for full timers, 2 weeks paid sick leave, 13 weeks paid long service leave if you have worked at the same company for 10 years, paid parental leave, carers leave, grievance leave, volunteer leave, etc. If you work casual hours then you usually receive a 17.5% more per hour. Weekends and public holidays usually attract higher wages too.
