Many rivers feeding into the delta have been dammed, diverted for Agri, and the forest canopy has been decimated (leading to more evaporation). In any case, like all delta regions, when the freshwater flow upstream is reduced, the salinity of the delta inncreases. To blame this on climate change is silly.
