"Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev is backing a parliamentary proposal to shift to a four-day week."
-- with all the Russian meddling in the U.S.A., maybe they can get this pushed through!
Jokes aside, I would love this. Right now in tech asking for this sort of thing feels like a 'career limiting move', and definitely in a hiring situation could label you as 'not a hard worker' despite your emphasis on efficiency and productive hours.
- blackearl 7y agoIf not career limiting, pay limiting. I'd worry that I suddenly get a 20% cut in salary
- philshem 7y agoI consider it a 20% bump in time. edit: or is it 25%?!
- black_puppydog 7y agoit's 33%, adding one day to the two of the weekend :)
- blobbers 7y agoThat's a 50% increase in time!
- discordance 7y agoIf you move from a 2 day weekend to a 3 day weekend it’s a 50% increase in free time.
