- ngngngng 7y agoI was perfectly capable, but my parents weren't willing to let me transport myself anywhere until I was 18, then I was allowed to take the bus and I got a car. I'm determined to let my toddler be independent as he grows, but when I talk to other parents about this, most are convinced that if I let them out of my sight they'll be raped and murdered immediately.
