Oh my... I saw FIDO2 and immediately (for some reason) thought it was a resurgence of FidoNet: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FidoNet https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FidoNet and somehow someone built a new FidoNet with security and audits.
