> The Trump administration brief came Wednesday just as Oracle founder Larry Ellison opened a campaign fundraiser for President Donald Trump at his southern California estate. Tickets ran as much as $250,000, according to an invitation obtained by the Desert Sun.
Is this the same Trump that doesn't need anyone's money and isn't beholden to anyone? (Sorry for using Breitbart as a reference).

- TehCorwiz 7y agoIt's because it's all lies. One day 1 he lied about the size of his inauguration crowd and that set the stage. A person willing to lie about the most meaningless things will definitely lie about the meaningful ones. I don't even know why I'm responding to this. I'm tired of the lying, but moreover I'm tired of people pretending that he doesn't lie constantly and egregiously about everything. I'm tired of people arguing in good faith against verifiable falsehoods, when there's no return of faith in the discussion. You can't "gotcha" him or his followers. It doesn't matter to them. "Never believe that anti-Semites are completely unaware of the absurdity of their replies. They know that their remarks are frivolous, open to challenge. But they are amusing themselves, for it is their adversary who is obliged to use words responsibly, since he believes in words. The anti-Semites have the right to play. They even like to play with discourse for, by giving ridiculous reasons, they discredit the seriousness of their interlocutors. They delight in acting in bad faith, since they seek not to persuade by sound argument but to intimidate and disconcert. If you press them too closely, they will abruptly fall silent, loftily indicating by some phrase that the time for argument is past." - Jean Paul-Sartre https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Veracity_of_statements_by_Donald_Trump https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Veracity_of_statements_by_Dona...
