    Even so, it breaks the flow of the sentence. It's actually quite jarring to read. I think it would be clear what they were even without the extra indication -- perhaps personal preference, though. (This is not to belittle the content you've got -- really interesting stuff, pretty well backed up. awesome.)

      Nice comment and one reason I write here. Writing politically incorrect comments can cause a lot of high emotions that can ruin the content. Somehow some signal is needed to 'qualify' the content as, say, "not in the usual academic style"! Looks like I need a better signal.
