Did you eventually get paid?
Sounds like the old phrase "you can't understand something if your salary depends on not understanding it" applies. If the boss of the company spreads misinformation that impugned you, his reports will believe it.
- AThrowAway99 7y agoNo not yet, this is only weeks old at this point. Yeah, after seeing the velocity in which I was told I created little of value for the company, I think the resentment and ego issues runs much deeper that I saw.

- AThrowAway99 7y agoI have started to think along these lines now, but have to be careful not to bias myself. It might turn out that this is true, and I am keeping an open mind about it all.
