American Taxation 101: If you have money or might make some in the future, they want some of it.
- haribilalic 16y agoI believe this is the basic principle of taxation, yes.
- patrickgzill 16y agoActually it isn't - my joke-y comment was to get people to think ... Thomas Jefferson and many of the other Founding Fathers wrote extensively on the subject; as did many others who were not American...including Bastiat, Gesell, etc.
