"You get the behavior you reward. This is what Google rewards." From what I have heard, I think you're right. Promotions and kudos flow from launching new products & services, but not in maintaining them.
- ineedasername 7y agoYes, it convinces me there needs to be a 3rd stage to the old axiom: 1) Ideas are easy but 2) execution is hard and (new) 3) Maintenance is boring and lacks prestige but you'll fail without it.
