You don't know why he got downvoted? It's obviously not "only in America"...
- nhangen 16y agoWell I'm from America, and I didn't take offense. However, my only reference is what I see here in the states. I guess my point is that if you don't agree, perhaps it's good form to explain why.
- steveklabnik 16y agoI would expect people on a business-related forum to understand exactly why the Kardashians make as much money as they do. It's like business 101. They produce things that people want to buy.
- nhangen 16y agoI think you missed the point of my post. My question is not why they make money, but why do people value their contribution. Hint: Celebrity driven culture - I get it. That doesn't mean I like it.
