It turns out that description in this blog post is wrong. Profiles.json Documentation from rstat1's commit (https://github.com/rstat1/terminal/blob/58f442dfd2a476de5552249535668fd9c185467b/doc/cascadia/SettingsSchema.md https://github.com/rstat1/terminal/blob/58f442dfd2a476de5552...) describes new setting this way: "When set to true closing a window with multiple tabs open WILL require confirmation. When set to false closing a window with multiple tabs open WILL NOT require confirmation." I just checked it and indeed setting it to "false" turns off confirmation.
