Solitude and Sensory Deprivation and Johnny Cash (2019)
- graeme 7y agoI recommend listening to San Quentin (live) by Johnny Cash once you reach the relevant point of the article. It somehow had a much stronger effect this listen after having read about prisoners.
- chrisco255 7y agoPrison time is meant to be corrective but it only really works on people that already have a pretty good life to begin with. For the folks that are already in a bad spot with little to no support system, it just exacerbates and makes it even harder to come back from.
