A lot of people use work to get away from their families. Just be aware It can be an indicator of other problems in your life. In all of my relationships (friends, family, romantic) I’ve observed that people usually severely undervalue personal time and are unwilling to commit to taking care of themselves. Good luck and I hope the office life brings you some happiness. I sometimes find myself jealous of those with commutes that get to chip away at their podcast queues daily.
