  Tech or any other minded people should use their own brain to make a decision. btw. voting for 'democrat' in US nowadays means voting for socialism. One can certainly do that, but one may want to read a book or two to learn what socialism is.

    Don’t confuse socialism as practiced in the USSR and its satellites with the “democratic socialism” practiced in Scandinavia, just because they have some of the same words in their name.

      what exactly make you think american 'socialism' takes scandinalian form? who is going to drive that change? current 'democrat' leadership is disgusting, brainless, corrupted, to say the least, and they aren't going anywhere unless true liberals (in its original meaning) get rid of them first.

        your comments are just trolling and not adding to the conversation. Perhaps you could give specific problems and behaviors of the leadership with problems. Who are these people,what did they do that was brainless and corrupt.

    That's a clearly inaccurate division. Next you'll point out that the nazis in Germany had socialist in their official party name so therefore socialism is obviously bad. There are plenty of successful European countries with higher taxes than us and much better social safety nets. Crazy countries where bankruptcy isn't one car accident away. But it is this way in the US: "if you get sick or hurt in say a car crash and can't work for a year or two you'll be bankrupt" and maybe dead when your healthcare runs out from your leaving your job. That doesn't make sense.

  If you have a job that pays well, think again. If the Democrats win, you will be giving most of your earnings to the government. Bernie Sanders has already said he believes there should be a maximum a person should make.

    Top brackets would have to be well over 50% for that to happen. That doesn’t seem likely regardless of the outcome of the coming election.

      Bernie Sanders has advocated for close to 100% taxes for top brackets in the past. None of the Bernie Bros on this site either want to believe it or to admit it. The shitty behavior of the Democrats and the push to full blown Socialism has pretty much forced me, my family, and all of my friends to vote Trump in 2020.

        You'd only see tax increases if you make more than $32 million per year. I'd imagine that none of you, your family, or your friends have been "forced" to vote Trump in 2020 - you're just afraid to admit you support him, and are trying to pin the blame on Bernie.

        I'm not 'afraid' of anything. Bernie couldn't even admit how much is programs cost (or didn't know). I would gladly vote for a more moderate Democrat.

        Would you rather have hundreds of billions of dollars going into the military-industrial complex than going to healthcare and education? You didn't bring up any concerns about how Trump would pay for his military budget. Bernie has already laid out his plan for an extreme wealth tax, which would raise $4 trillion over the next decade, more than enough to pay for his proposals (and wouldn't raise taxes on anyone with a net worth of less than $32M)
