- gumby 7y agoIn my experience you just use the config tool to tell the NAS to be a time machine server and then point your Mac at the NAS same as you would the time capsule. Not bad, actually!
- chadcmulligan 7y ago> you just use the config tool yah, and then I'll probably have to reformat the drives because they're ntfs or something, oh but the drivers aren't compatible, just go and download the latest, oh they don't work with this version of the OS, maybe try a different distro, and so on. Sigh, I like the apple way.
