Lucky kids. One of the best things my mother ever did for me was always have a ton of books around. Fiction, non-fiction. Garbage. Masterpieces. Even the ones I wasn't allowed to read "until I was older." I also had a grandmother that worked at a bookstore for most of her life. I have, and love, a Kindle, but I can't imagine a life without books.
