Sorry, I should have specified "introduced to my first actual programming language, QBASIC".
Funny thing was, I already knew how to program (in terms of breaking problems down and using components to model data - probably from building games in RPG Maker), I just had never been shown a programming language. It was a "AHA!" moment.
