Electron apps are fat in so many dimensions. From time to time I make them at work. I like the ergonomics of writing desktop javascript, but those blob sizes... Super simple, zero asset electron app? ~300MB Relatively complicated binary created with unity that includes high resolution textures, models and sounds? 35MB. So far, everything I've used electron for has had good enough performance though.
