It seems like the peer review process is more likely to establish importance than correctness.
- btrettel 7y agoMaybe, but my fellow researchers' evaluations of importance seem to differ significantly from my own, so I'm not sure this is a good thing. I think it mostly helps improve the presentation of the paper by clarifying unclear parts.
