Read my first actual post. My point was not that they should be able to just do that. My point is that it needs to be contractually clear what is gone happen. What are parts of the car and what are services you are buying with your account. Neither way to do it is wrong and suggesting so is just dumb, the same trade-off exists all over the place in other industries as well.
