I would bet that these attacks are coming through Tor, and the country distribution is just the distribution of Tor exit nodes.

- JeremyMorgan 7y agoI wondered about that same thing. Obviously the "where the attacks came from" portion will never be 100% accurate.
- scrps 7y agoIf you are interested, Tor keeps a list of exit nodes you could compare against. I'd be curious to see how many are exit nodes. https://check.torproject.org/exit-addresses https://check.torproject.org/exit-addresses
- olivierduval 7y ago... or just some servers compromised by a malware, used as a proxy
