I hear ya. I still live in the Bay Area (bought a place, so my costs for housing are fixed), and I can't believe the insane policies we have. It drives me mad--you have an electorate that constantly complains about the high cost of housing, and also blocks any reforms that create more housing. And unfortunately, the votes to solve the problem are slowly moving out of state...
