Growing up in a city weakens the brain’s navigational skills
- crmrc114 7y agoSo because I grew up with a Grid pattern in my community I am now less adapt at memorizing non-grid like streets in a video game? "The detrimental effect of city living on navigation.." Why Detrimental? Why is it bad that I skill I have never needed to use is not developed? I don't juggle well either- have never needed that skill. I am not sure that the published work provides anything of value other than teaching us that people who use GPS or even live in cities are not used to navigation without a grid of some sort. Which does not honestly seem like much of a surprise.
