What if I am fully aware that they sell my eyeballs for revenue and I am OK with that because I find the amount of ads to be acceptable compared to the value I get from the product ?
- monadic2 7y agoMoney has worked just fine for millennia. Why do we need google as a middleman all of a sudden?
- tsimionescu 7y agoNot all contracts are legal. For example, you are not allowed to sell your kidney, even if you are fully aware of the implications. Obviously, selling your data is not as harmful to you as selling a kidney. But it is still harmful, and it is also extremely harmful to society when many people do so.
