What does this statement really add besides political signaling?

- classicsnoot 7y agoI wanted to be clear that i didn't come up with the ideas I related, and I have gotten in trouble with HN moderation for linking the blog in the past.
- jshevek 7y agoIt is important as a community that we are aware of the criteria, both claimed and actual, which guide the moderation of our community. Statements like this give people like me an opportunity to research and learn more about the decision making of the mods.
