- TeMPOraL 7y agoand/or a proper use of a REPL, and/or to compile and run frequently.
- malisper 7y agoYou're telling that to someone who has Lisp in their username :) There's still a difference between testing while writing it and after writing it that's independent of whether you have a REPL or not.
- TeMPOraL 7y ago:). I do both, but I find the former significantly easier when you have a REPL vs. having to write little test programs on the side.
- jspash 7y agoHopefully his next insight will discover pair programming. Then he can ditch the recordings.
- JoeAltmaier 7y agoNot at all. He didn't write the tests first, then write the code. So it wasn't test-driven at all. If we ignore critical process differences, then sure everything is 'like' everything else.
