I am genuinely curious why these comments criticizing the current process of peer review and publishing are being downvoted.
In my ten years of working in academia i have not met anyone who was happy with the current state of things.
So i would be very interested to know are there so many scientist on hn who are happy with peer review process, are there many programmers who want to protect science, or are these comments terrible in some other way to deserve downvotes.
