Not to mention that sleeping in public is illegal, but it's also illegal to create small affordable places to live. Apartments have minimum sizes, SROs are largely illegal, and good luck getting approval to legally rent out a basement or garage.
- perl4ever 7y agoThere's no law against a bunch of unrelated people getting together and buying/renting a big house. All you need is several wage-earners, and trust. I distinctly remember reading about people complaining that immigrants doing this were contributing greatly to skyrocketing property values and rents in some areas.
