My wife introduced me to that. I believe it was when we were living in Belgium. Very tasty and not easy to come by in Sweden.

- unwind 7y agoHuh? Following the Wikipedia link to the Swedish page, it turns out "feldsalat" is called "maché" commercially in Sweden, it's really a standard thing to find in the produce corners. See [1] for instance. [1] https://www.mathem.se/varor/machesallat/sallad-mache-70g-klass1 https://www.mathem.se/varor/machesallat/sallad-mache-70g-kla...
- Agentlien 7y agoYes, you're right. My wording was a bit stronger than intended. It's certainly available, but not as popular as other types of lettuce such as iceberg, romaine or cosmopolitan. To the point that I didn't know what it was and always looked past it before living in Belgium.
