What I'm trying to figure out is how is this not the landlord's responsibility rather than the commercial tenant's?
- thedance 7y agoVirtually all business leases are "triple net", with the tenant being on the hook for every expense from taxes to casualty to maintenance and improvements. Commercial landlords aren't some kind of essential component of American capitalism, they are just jerks who live at the beach and have no skin in the game.
