- dragonwriter 7y agoThe only part of that that has to do with racism seems as likely to be existing racism adopting references to current events than any acceleration of it. The avoiding of shops in a Chinatown may be an overreaction, but there's no necessarily racist motivation, and in any case the idea that factual news about matters of current interest ought to be suppressed because some people might overreact in that way is ludicrous.
