I think that is unfair to MySQL. MySQL is and always has been a fantastic piece of code and to my surprise it has developed and improved under Oracle's stewardship.
- tinus_hn 7y agoPHP has always been a great piece of code as well, there clearly is a reason it is used so much. Like PHP, MySQL used to have stupid defaults though, like silently ignoring errors.
