Schematics can't be copyrighted, so anyone could take it and make themselves an instrument. I think schematics disappeared around the rise of China. Companies didn't want their products copied. I think that is backwards. Only thing you may lose is R&D time which there are ways to recoup. Let's make schematics available again.
