Everything Erdogan has said and done the last few years just screams he is planning to, eventually, go to war. For example: why would a NATO allied country buy a Russian anti aircraft system especially capable of locking on and destroying the lastest generation of NATO stealth fighters like the F35 Joint Strike Fighter and F22 Raptor? Sadly a lot of what this new fascist Turkey has been doing (like military expansion into Syria, which once was part of the Ottoman Empire -- reviving it is the longtime dream of Erdogan) has gone mostly unnoticed and ignored and Christians, Kurds and Yazidis will pay a terrible price for it in the future. History and human error sadly seem to remain repeating themselves.
