I can now truly vouch for the idea that women have it generally harder vs men in Western culture.
Based on what? You do not believe men have these same thoughts about their spouse and what happens to their loved ones after they pass? Even guilt as you described. I ask this with respect and curiocity.
- ta12126 7y agoBased on a bunch of guilt they were carrying to the grave that I wasn't. It was a personal observation. Not a scientific conclusion.
- david38 7y agoYou mean you found some women who had it harder than you. Like you said, it was mostly women you spoke with. Also, women are conditioned to open up about their hardships more (in the US). I’ve seen my fair share of people die, slowly and suddenly. It’s always the same. The men say less. They are expected to. They’re not supposed to complain or say what’s on their mind other than “don’t worry about me.”
