the only reason it 's still called coronavirus is nobody has come up with a creative name, and everyone insists on not calling it "wuhan virus".
Anybody want to give it a name?
- rotterdamdev 7y agoIt has a name. Do your homework. It is called coronavirus (a familynof virii) because of the shape of the organism.

- buboard 7y agosars and mers and thousands of others are also coronaviruses. this one is currently designated "2019 novel coronavirus" which is not very practical
