Bitcoin mining does generate a lot of heat but I’m not sure it’s hot enough to boil significant amounts of water. There are a few companies who specialize in mining rigs that run on waste produced by oil and gas mining though, which is fuel/energy that otherwise is vented straight into the atmosphere.
