TeamViewer is good, but ohmy is it expensive if you want to use it for commercial purposes. I've evaluated it for family support, and it's certainly robust -- they're not joking about the claims of very cross platform. But I haven't tested it with multiple monitors on either side.
I haven't run Zoom on any of my computers, and after last year's revelations I'm unlikely to feel I should.
x11vnc looks neat and seems to be relatively popular, but I've never had to dive into it.
- zwirbl 7y agoI use TeamViewer for family support as well and it works fine, can't tell about multiple monitors. What revelations regarding Zoom are you getting at?
- matthewheath 7y agoZoom installed a backdoor into their software.

- zwirbl 7y agobest way to find out about a backdoored software I never used I guess
- kingosticks 7y agoNoMachine works well.
- cerberusss 7y agoOn what Linux distros do you have TeamViewer working well?
- Jedd 7y agoDebian - stable, testing, and unstable - consistently, if somewhat infrequently, over about 9 years. Compare VMware Workstation, which costs non-trivial monies, and typically breaks in difficult-to-fix ways every few months if you're on bleeding edge kernels, and unfixable ways no matter what you're doing after a couple of years, requiring more monies to upgrade for a functionally identical experience.
