    I’ve observed openly white supremacist language being used on this website with a weak chiding for being “political” being the only response.

      Okay, I suspect it gets downvoted to oblivion on posts with any meaningful activity, which is how the system is supposed to work. I'm confident I don't personally agree with whatever statement was made at the top of this thread, but I also don't really care if it's censored/removed or not, so I might not be the best advocate here.

  If you're going to make a claim like that, you should supply links so readers can make up their own minds. Most of the time people make inflammatory and linkless claims about moderation, the real story turns out to be something quite different. An even likelier possibility is that we just didn't see whatever comments you're referring to. We don't come close to seeing everything that gets posted here.
