That was my experience as well -- using a cloud key and ubiquiti camera yielded a less responsive video feed via a hardwired ethernet connection than a nest camera over wifi! Ubiquiti needs to step up the quality of the hardware. I realize they're appliances but even powerful embedded processors are cheap. There's no excuse.
