I get a fair number of mail and packages from China, living in Australia. Some virus' can survive quite a while on non-porous surfaces like plastic, especially if the contents itsef is contaminated. I now open packages outside of the house and spray the contents down with alkohol. Yea keep those sneaky vectors in mind.
