I used to work with a lady that selected that as the solid colour background for her desktop. Even today just recalling it I'm drawn to laugh a bit in exasperation. I feel a little bit like I'm sharing a tech horror story around a camp fire. Her desktop icon arrangement was... in line with what you would expect of such a mind. But it's yet another example I can bring up against absolute statements like everyone hates magenta.
