I switched because Personal Capital has much nicer UI and tools for understanding your investments. As my income increased over my career I found that budgeting was becoming the least complex part of my financial life compared to managing retirement, brokerage, stock grants, etc. funds.
- mbajkowski 7y agoI agree on PC being much better in tracking investments and performance especially as net worth increases compared to mint. I have also found it to be more solid connection wise vs. Mint over the last year where mint has really gone downhill for me for some reasonwith many unresolved issues, whereas the PC support tickets I filed were resolved rather promptly. Not all is great, categorization and tagging of transaction is terrible, and you can't have sub categories, so if you need that, you need to use something else, which is not great.
