Can a connection be formed between ethics education for tech, and ethics education in general?
I get it, ethics isn't a "hard skill" like programming or math, but can we move forward with problem solving with a confirmed axiom that ethics, and to an extension philosophy, should be a part of basic education again?
- codingmess 7y agoMost ethics is just the strategy of a bunch of intellectuals to reach for some power. Since ethics are not based on actual "laws" of the universe, they are just people making up laws. Those people want power, that's all. As an example, since they mention "helping the ICE", this Mozilla pamphlet is basically just motivated by "orange man bad".
